Ever green velo rider Debbie Percival added to her palmares with a second place in the Thanet RC 10 held on the Thanet Way.

Although the morning was already warm and there was little wind, Debbie covered the distance in 25:35, good enough for second place in the women’s competition to pre race favourite Maria Sparks of the Ashford Wheelers.

Overall winner was Nic Fennell of the home Thanet team, with a time of 19:32.
