Our racers have been really busy over the last week.

On Saturday Rob Kennison and Steve Smith raced the vets league at Herne Hill Velodrome.

Rob placed 2nd in the elimination and 15 lap scratch and he’s now standing 2nd in the series.

Steve took a win in the scratch race and 5th in a chaotic devil and rounded off the night with 4th in the team sprint with Rob and Jim Robertson.

The following day Rob returned to Herne Hill for open season. Despite racing on tired legs he finished in the top half of all his races.

On Saturday Michael Stanley travelled to Pippingford Park in Crowborough for the trail X Off Road Triathlon.

On arriving the event was changed to a duathlon due to ecoli making the swim too dangerous to run.

Mike did well completing the gruelling event in 2hrs 40mins taking 11th in his age group in a busy field.

On Thursday Matt Nunn took on a very fast cat 4 race at Cyclopark. He finished 14th in a field of 21.
