Velo’s Rob Kennison travelled to the Oostvoorne Netherlands and took on a derny paced race as part of the a post Tour de France criterium.

Lining up against a number of former members of the professional peloton, including former yellow jersey wearer Erik Breukink (ex Panasonic and PDM), Martin Den Bakker (ex PDM, TVM, and Rabobank) and Bart Voskamp (ex TVM).

Racing behind a derny guarantees a fast pace and Rob’s race was run off in just over 46 minutes, and despite the strong field Rob finished midway through the field.
